MX-5 Car Club of WA Visits UWAM
The UWA Motorsport team were honoured to host a visit by the members of the MX-5 Car Club of Western Australia. The visitors were eager to view our collection of past and present cars, with the students enlightening them about how the cars are designed and built. The visitors came at a good time as the chassis plug is near completion, giving them a sneak peek at what the new car will look like! The MX-5 Car Club members, more accustomed to their lightweight road cars, were surprised about the sub-200kg weight of the car, however their experience and knowledge was something the team admired immensely, making the event a thoroughly enjoyable night for motorsport enthusiasts young and old!
