The University of Western Australia Motorsport Team is seeking sponsorship from Government and Industry for the 2008 Australasian Formula SAE competition run by the Society of Automotive Engineers (Formula SAE).

UWA Motorsport provides university students with a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of engineering excellence and technology. Students from engineering, finance, marketing, human movement and even psychology have been involved on the team showing the diversity of disciplines that makes up UWA Motorsport.

The Formula SAE competition is an important youth initiative that sets new standards of scientific and engineering practice internationally. The past two years has seen UWA Motorsport revolutionise theories in fluid dynamics and composite materials. Further to this, UWA Motorsport is constantly involving itself with young people from primary and high-school,striving to promote higher education and what a positive attitude towards learning can achieve.
